Currently the site provides general information about the foundation, as well as providing online access to our newsletter. SDCLEF.com will continue to be expanded offering information on upcoming special events, board and foundation activities and much more! Statement of PurposeThe San Diego County Law Enforcement Foundation is a nonprofit 501(C) (3) Corporation, composed of community members dedicated to providing financial support to the San Diego County's Sheriff and Police Departments. Financial support is distributed in the forms of Equipment Grants, Continuing Education Scholarships, Family Assistance Fund for families of officers killed in the line of duty and other programs as deemed worthy by the Foundation. BenefitsSDCLEF members benefit by working with others in pursuit of the common goal to support local law enforcement. The SDCLEF is an all volunteer organization, with no paid employees, therefore 100% of all funds raised are available for distribution to local law enforcement agencies that serve San Diego County. Members receive a wallet and identification readily identifying them as a SDCLEF member. Members receive periodical newsletters and mailings supplying updates on SDCLEF'S activities involving local law enforcement agencies. Activities
